Naomi Schanen joins The Post’s London hub as breaking news reporter and video producer

In this new role, Naomi will write stories and produce videos about the biggest global stories as they develop during the day in Europe. Naomi comes to The Post from the Associated Press in London, where she helped run live video coverage of the war in Ukraine, President Biden’s inauguration, the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan and former president Donald Trump’s impeachment trials. Naomi also freelanced for AP’s radio team, writing scripts and producing breaking-news packages. She said finding her “radio voice” took time, but she thoroughly enjoyed navigating a new medium.
